Just a note to remember for any of you overseas travellers...

Be very careful using the internet on your phone overseas.

Just got our work phone bill and one guy's bill was $3000 for 8 days of data usage in China...LMAO

After a call to Telstra however they knocked 75% off the bill:jawdrop::jawdrop::jawdrop::jawdrop::jawdrop:: jawdrop:

I can't believe Telstra did that for us...I'm shocked!!!!

I can't believe Telstra did that for us...I'm shocked!!!!

I always turn my data roam off and only use the internet when im at the hotel with their wireless connection

Thats a must, a mate of mine got nailed nearly 25k over 2 bills and 2 trips, 1 in nz and 1 in usa but it got dropped to around 4k.

By law they must advise when reaching your data limit and are to also advise you on call usage as well as they arw not allowed to let you go over 3 times your normal monthly limit unless arranged as they are bound bu the telecommunications act and more and more providers are getting shafted by the ombudsman for it
