97 Patrol with 292,000

Hi All,

As per the title I have a patrol with close to 300k on the clock, any ideas what the best engine oil to use would be?

You'd be looking at a 20w50, which is better suited to older high mileage engines.

I bagged some Castrol GTX pretty cheap at supercrap auto the other week, but Penright and Nulon are both as good(if not better) options.

For reference, my engine is a 360,000 carbied TB42 from a 93 Mav.
