I have a decent head unit in my Q but have been looking around for something that does more. I see on evilbay there are chinese no brand head units that do everything. They have dvd player, 7" morotised screen, GPS with aussie maps and digital TV tuner all in a single din unit. They are still $450 or $350 without the digital tv, just analog so its not cheap but getting something all in one would be nice.

Has anyone seen these first hand or do reputable brands make the same thing? It would be nice to have a bit of technology in the Q but i don't want screens and wires everywhere.

What setups are you all running and feel free to post pics. :driving2:

I had 1 (2din) that I put in my BT50 and it was fine, ran ozi and Igo 8, had no issues at all but never ran the tv so I cant comment on that part

The Chinavision Double Din Head Unit in my truck has been running fine for over two years and the truck gets more than its share of corro's and lumpy bits.

The TV is all but useless (tried it once just for the sake of it, you'll need a hi gain antenna anyway) and the blutooth average but the thing will play any music file I have thrown in it and the GPS side is as good as anything else around (I run Igo8 and OziCE). I bought it almost solely to play the music files because the factory Head Unit is a joke and as a 7 inch GPS so I'm as happy as a pig in poo.

I have been wondering about these. I think Bigrig has one. Perhaps Scotty can let us know how it is travelling??

i had a chinese head unit a few years ago, it was extremely cheap as i was broke as. It started to fall apart and gradually buttons wouln't work and stuff but kept playing music. Now days the manufacturing is getting better so maybe they are ok.

You can get decent brand name units pretty cheap.
