Gu front seat swaps

Hey all. I drive way to many k's to work,4-5 hrs easy,and I'm dead set tired of my crappy gu series 1 seats?
So my question to you all is what seats have you all swapped in? Or am I just a sook??
Looking at recaro's but pricy. Anyone swapped in other makes seats?

Also did the st models come with lumbar support??

Not much help but my Dmax I have has shitty seats much like my GU2. I ended up putting in some top notch sheepskin covers and its much better. Now the problem I have it trying to stay awake on long trips :D

Macca once you put yours in did you need to get a mod plate? What model you go with? Thinking the expert m, thinking I'm looking around 2g a seat

No I didnt worry about a mod plate, would be caught up with the other mods so left that alone.
Seats are old experts I think' they dont have the adjustable thigh support.
Bought the Recaro/Nissan Patrol base from Recaro through Opp Lock Lambton.
Brilliant seats though

I got my original seats re-upholstered and made into bucket seats and leather, really comfortable.

Far out, they are plush mate! Would be too scared to put mud and water through them. But I guess that's a good thing about leather.
