We roll with a Kaymar , they are a tad on the dear side but well worth it. Good qaulity, and solid as.

I have the kaymar as well, the guys from ARB told me to stay away from theirs as they are a pain to fit and repair and nowhere near as good as the kaymars, at the end of the day it is what works best for you

When I was looking to buy mine I spoke with the guys that fit various brands on a regular basis. For the reasons mentioned above the ARB bars where not recommended. In the end the Kaymar bar was the choice. I had the advantage of being able to get a really good price, well below what you would pay now.

The bar has performed well, been smacked and pounded over some of the worst tracks in the country, eg the CSR. Also looks good I think, the pic below has 33" tyres mounted.

Hey Darren, the ebay link has expired now. Do you know if they still selling on eBay.

Was it this MCC (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Nissan-Patrol-GU-Series-4-Rear-Bumper-Bar-Twin-Carriers-/320898741303?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4ab70e3437#ht_3579wt_1111) bar

The bar mudrunner posted wasn’t a mcc bar but it was selling for $1890 can’t remember if that included postage though

Your link is mcc, same bar superior distribute but for more if you wanted this bar id call superior and get a postage quote to compare

Or call mcc direct as they are in vic and you may be able to save postage or get it posted from closer/ cheaper

my car is full ;). my wallet is also significantly fuller than if i'd paid OVER 3 TIMES THE PRICE for a kaymar/ARB/Strongarm. Or nearly twice the price for virtually the same bar, but called Powerful..

Has anyone heard of Raslarr Engineering????

They do a bar which looks like Millweld one but a lot cheaper. Same specs, etc.

http://www.raslarrengineering.com.au/

The photo on their site is an old one and they now have led reverse llights on the back

Hey Chris, yeah i have seen a couple of their rear bars on a couple of GQs over here. i think that had a full kit of Rasllar bar work and they looked good. Not sure about one on a GUIV though??

I have just compared the pics and i think they are the same bar! The one from MMC looks like it has reverse sensors in it and No Hilift point on the right side? and their price includes Freight. price up both i think and see what it would cost you to freight up the other one for the best price??

Good luck Chris, keen to see either of these on your car mate! post up a pic when you done.
