Howzit. I have a 2001 Patrol diesel bought in Northern Ireland, shipped to South Africa and am attempting to do the East and West coast of Africa. 5th gear shredded in Ethiopia so am now driving a 4 speed patrol and due to a lot of rust in important places, have limped back to Durban from Sudan to execute repairs before attempting the West coast. It seems the Australians know more about these trucks than perhaps Nissan themselves do. I am hoping to tap into your knowledge to help get me back on the road again.
