Hi all

Thought it was about time I went for a wander over here, and first order of business is to apologise to AB and the team for the dramas with the P4x4 trojan attack, I know it meant a bit of work for you... rest assured it won't happen again!

I am on the Sunshine Coast, three young kids, work in the city a few days a week and at home the rest. Love getting out into the bush or on the beach with the Patrol whenever I can, which sadly is less and less these days... but have some multiple-week trips in the works to make up for it.

I am pretty busy with P4x4 and a few other non-4wd forums but will try to spend some time here when possible, learn and help out where I can, and meet a few more Patrollers.

There's good days, and there's not so good days...

Welcome to the forum mate, don't apologise mate it was obviously not anyones fault just the idiot who did the damage unfortunately. Looks like you guys went through hell for a while so hope it all works out for you.

Feel free to ask any questions and join in the conversations.

G'day mate and welcome aboard - great people, information and laughs to be found on here, so join in to make the most of it!!!

I'm a member on P4x4 also mate and whilst I rarely post, I do scroll through to keep up to date on certain topics - shame what's happened, and to be honest, good to see some diehards are giving it their best shot to resuscitate it (mods over there must be pulling their hair out). Between the two sites, there isn't much you couldn't find out about Patrols - that wealth of knowledge built up on the back of hard work and commitment by a truckload of members would be the worst casualty if it were to go pear shaped ...

That said, hope you get as much out of this joint when you trawl through it ...

Thank you guys for the welome

Yes Roosta it was soft alright! Although I'd probably have done better with a bit more right foot.

That was about 30 seconds after my mate got on the UHF and said "This looks like twin locker country mate, you go first", do you reckon he knew something?

Gavin good to see you here, yes I'm keen to get out sometime in the not too distant future, have not done much offroading for a while. Was out at Glasshouse briefly a week ago but had to play nice because the sliders are still off for clean-up and painting.
