Hi from RobMac a new member living on the Gold Coast

I have a 2000GU TI patrol 4.5l running on petrol/LPG.
It has gas research gas equipment which I want to get tuned on a dyno but wanted to get tappet settings checked prior to the gas tune and am reluctant to take it to Nissan due to dual fuel.
I would be grateful if someone could recommend a repairer to do the tappet set on the Gold Coast or south side of Brisbane please?

Good to see another gold coaster in the ranks... I have used Elite Automotive http://www.eliteauto.com.au/ for my last couple of vehicles... they are honest reliable, and get shit done right the 1st time... although my last couple of vehicles were more of a performance vehicle... Have a chat with Paul (Honky) or Steve (The Bogan) and see if they are able to help you out. Honky doesn't mind a bit of 4x4 action and has a pretty modded up Jeep, and if you have a look at his other toys (11 Second HSV GTS, 10 Sec FPV F6, even is wife's car is a 400+ rwkw FPV F6) and you will understand that he has a passion for all things with an engine.

Tell him Biscuits sent ya and I reckon he will happily give you 50% off after he has tripled the bill :)

Not quite sure of a good one bud, but a gas mechanic should be able to set the rockers for you. To save messing around. Be carefull tho, I went to a gas place at capellaba for a tune on my diesel gas. They spent a whole day and all they did was resolder a plug wrong before they chucked it on the dyno to produce wat less power than my last dyno. I can't remember the name, but they had a Christian fish sticker on the front window of there office. The gas research people should be able to do it for ya easily.
