drivers seat cracked

Just wondering if anyone has had cracks in the drivers seat welded/repaired without having to strip the entire seat down? Mine has been creaking since I bought it, I found that the metal base plate has a few small cracks around it where the rails bolt on

Had mine replaced under warranty about a month ago, the stealership took 5 hours to replace the bracket
