Just pulled my ac controls out of my gu 4 06 because the vent control wouldnt twist clock wise or anti clock wise and the thermostat was stuck- not moving in a twist. Found the thermostat controls had a bit of plastic that had snapped off the cog which was stopping it from moving.. win..
also the vent control cable had fallen off the support brack (in behind where the hazard lights are on the fascia), put it back in place and now the vent work nicely.. win
just wondering if any one else had come across this problem?? also how do u replace the bulb/ led in the button next to the ac on/off button??
Learnt that its better to have a gander then pay $650 for someone to have a look and put in a new control box
