Been tinkering with old 4X4s for a long time now and have wanted a Patrol for quite a while. Finally my son called me from Nashville Tennessee and told me about a 1969 for sale there. I drove up, bought it, hooked it up on a trailer behind the Toyota Tundra and pulled it home over the mountains and for 15 hours in the rain. Parts and information are kind of hard to come by here so I'm glad to have found this forum. I'll try not to make a pest of myself.

Welcome to the forum mate, looks like a well looked after Patrol, keep us informed with how it goes too! Great find!

Ask any questions you have, don't be afraid. Won't be too long until this beast will be towing your Tundra...haha

Thanks for the warm welcome folks. Good shape except for lots of oil leaks. Going to pressure wash and steam clean the underside today hoping it isn't the rear engine seal leaking but you take what comes along. Give me a chance to have a look at the clutch etc while I'm in there. The body looks better far away than up close (like me) This old girl was the victim of some bad body filler jobs but nothing major. Nothing that time, work and buying lots of beer for my buddies will not cure. Here's another photo. G'nite.

Welcome, and nice Patrol!

I see a similar one here in Aguadulce, Panama, talked to the owner, he said it was a 3-speed and gasoline engine.
