anyone put the vh45 into gq, are they any good in a 4wd? weekend project or much more?

Much more. There is one getting around which is twin turboed but it has spent more time off the road than running. It can be done and have good results but you have to be willing to put the time into it.

i saw one on ebay a few months ago, might be the same one nissannewby was talking about, looked like a good project to finish, sold for about 5 grand. With conversions like that you need lots of time and money. Not sure who does conversion kits but marks 4x4 Adapters, Castlemaine Rod shop and Dellows cover most conversions these days.

Yeah i believe it was for sale the bloke who bought did a lot of work to it and got it running only to have the engine fail on him again i havent seen much more about it since then ill see if i can find the link for it.

Yes it can be done, I know this isnt the VH-45 but its close enough, :thumbup:
