rebuild rd28ti starter motor

has anyone tried rebuilding a rd28ti starter motor? can you get a kit for this?

I'm sure they could be rebuilt mate - reco'd ones are available for sale.

That said - how you go about doing it, I haven't the first clue ...

Hopefully someone may be able to assist ...

Mate I am unaware of a kit, however sometimes its a as simple as striping the starter motor, giving it a good clean,regrease and some new brushes.


Try ringing Bursons or another reputable automotive parts supplier, and they will know if a kit is available.
