I assume your motor is dead and you want 2 know if a motor from an auto will go into your rig which is manual???
Could you explain a bit better?
Could you also stop past the introduction section and post up a bit of info about yourself and your rig.

Spigot bush in crankshaft will have to be changed to suit new gearbox input as manual & auto are usually different. apart from this should bolt in using bits of your old engine ie flywheel, clutch n slave cylinder.
If its petrol there maybe a kickdown cable n bracket that won't be used on the manual if its carbie it maybe easier just to unbolt your carbie n change to new engine.
Its mainly commodores that have different blocks to go with auto box & manual from what Ive seen.
Cheers hope this is of help

I've never known a commodore to have a different block for auto and manual. I'm sure u'll find there all the same.

I'm not incredibly sure with the RB30 models but as for the TB42's yes it's the same engine, no kickdown cable they have a TPS on the carb/throttle body. Other than that, as stated above spigot, flywheel, clutch. Side note: the auto's in these are bloody awesome (when they are working properly) :-)
