hey all can anyone tell me why i would be getting low boost readings and high egt temps.i have a stock zd30.can anyone give me an idea of what readings you are getting from your zd30s.i am about to block the egr but dont yet have a dawes or needle valve.is this going to be a problem????

Low boost will cause high egt's.
I'd look for leaks first.

Take your intercooler off and get it pressure tested for leaks, check your hoses for cracks
splits or clamps are loose
youll be able to get better boost readings once you set your dawes valve up

boost should be around 15psi under full load and egt's vary I get 250 to 350 around town and on the high way 300 to 450 pending on load and hills

maybe insatll egr block and dawes needle valve set up as that normally increases boost drive it and tune turbo by adjusting vnt screw for mor or less boost and get a balance of psi and egt's simular to mine.

someone may have fiddled with it prior to you getting the vehicle or your turbo is on the way out or dirty/faulty maf sensor intercooler leaks all lead to that. I'd been cleaning your maf or replacing it to be honest. ynot or chaz are the men to ask
