Newby to this forum. Purchased my 2001 GU 3ltr turbo diesel automatic Patrol last November. The sad part is I traded my 1981 WB Stateman Caprice for it, I had it for 18 years but was wrecking it towing my boat, salt water, pressure on trans and diff etc. so hopefully went to someone who will care for it. I must say I am just as proud of my new vehicle and heaps cheaper to run, easier to manouver, a lot younger and tows the boat like a dream. I have fitted new front and rear shocks and replaced dummy tailights since purchase. Sorting out some spotlight issues and new steering damper next project.
