Fantastic Forum .... excellent and soooo much info.
We are from South Aussie and have only just joined the Patrol brigade with a GU8.
We are pretty impressed with it. Out of the box it is manual, white (i asked for any colour as long as it was white!),snorkel, steel bull bar, towbar, window tint, reverse camera, rubber mats etc etc.
As its starting to run in, the economy is getting better .... lots of fun filling right up though.
We are mainly using it to travel around the country, hopefully June/July next year, towing the Expanda.
