Hello guys and girls,
I'm new to the forum and to the patrol world.
I just purchased a 2005 3.0 turbo auto. I did not know that ther ewere issues with this model until i started reading the forum. How do i know if mine is a D22 or D40. What is needed to to a NADS mod. What else to i need to know or do to the car.
Thanks you,
Paul

Hi Polo. I'm still pretty new to the patrol world myself, but with regard to the D22/D40 question - sounds like you've got a Navara?? A quick google search lead me to this: http://www.shop1auto.com.au/New%20towbar%20pages/Nissan_D22_and_D40.html - perhaps that helps? Otherwise keep digging mate, people here will be happy to help people that help themselves.

G'day mate and welcome aboard - great people, information and laughs to be found on here, so join in to make the most of it!!!

Sounds like you have a 3.0l diesel patrol mate, not a d22 nor a d40. Being a 2005 model it won't need NADS done - those models were 2000-2003.

Enjoy!!

welcome aboard Polo, you made the right choice with the nissan. D22 and D40 relate to the navara range, if you have a patrol it will be a gu for that year.
