Well today i decided i had had enough of my noisy rear diff and pulled it out.
To my surprise it is not lsd luckily i have another one here that is.

Not an lsd in the rear? Thats odd as i thought all GQ's came with a rear lsd.

X2 i thought they were all lsd also, dunno about those with factory locker though

Same here has the lsd sticker on the housing as well but opened it up and sure enough no lsd i thought wtf.

yes this is strange maybe the previous owner had an air locker in it and it was removed prior to selling.

It was the cleanest i have ever seen underneath and used as a shopping trolley i don't think it had ever been of the bitumen.
But not anymore lol.
No signs of any air or electric lines.
Do the lsd's from the rear fit the front .

I think if read on here somewhere that the rear LSD out of Navara or pathfinder will fit the front of q patrol........not sure on exact details.....

Yeah i have been looking into that currently looking at one for $50 at that price it would be worth trying.

Ok heres an update diff carrier bearings 2 of Koyo --17831
Front or small pinion Nsk --32306AN
Rear or large pinion bearing Nsk --32308CN
Front seal or pinion seal NOK --AH2520G

Yeah just have to swap the gears over the lsd i had was a 41 and i have 46 ratios.
The one i removed from my gq was a 4 pinion open center but is like it is locked up can't get it to budge might be why it was so noisy.

Yeah i think it might be a good idea lol.
Apparently it puts a bit less strain on things.
