Hey mate, im doing the front diff this weekend. I also did a search but i found what i was looking for......recomended 80W-90 in the front diff (no locker).
It did say what to use for the back but i cant remember......Youll have to have another go at searching. Put in difff+oil and it will be there somewhere. Goodluck

So the front doesn't need LSD oil but the rear does

Yeah mate. I use 80w-90 in my g/box, transfer and front diff and 85w-140lsx oil in the rear diff. It is possible to fit an lsd out of a path finder into the front of a gq.

Yeah bloke it wont cause any issues. You normally have to buy 2 oils anyway I myself change all those oils at once so hae 80w-90 for the gearbox there anyway.

yeah i was going to change the gearbox and rear diff oil and transfer case at same time but im a bit short on cash at the moment as i have had to get a heaps of parts to fix the other problems. i bought the gulf western gear lube 80w90 ill see how that goes and if im happy with it i will put in my gearbox as its only 32 bucks for 5 litres
