Hello its me again,

I have a simple question looking for a simple answer, Please don't ask why but can I marriage a toyota hilux transmission to a SD33 engine. I don't care about the housing but as long as the spline shaft fits into the SD33 I'll be very but very happy. It's really a long story so please don't ask why.

Thank you.

I am going to give you a little story of !! why straight to the point: I have a GQ body w/o engine and tranny but in the other hand I have a SD33 sitting around with it original tranny and transfer so I decided to put it in the GQ but as you might now the GQ rear diff is in the center and the SD33 transfer output is to the right side so it might work but again it might vibrate when turning so I have an idea for that and help you me please wich one might be better and at the same time less expensive:

1. Getting a transmission with a center ouput that I can fit into my SD33
OR
2. Using double cardan joints in my rear drive shaft and that way I'll cancell out any vibrations.

Now I don't have any more funds to buy the original TD42 so please dont ask why "don't you buy the TD42" and besides here in Panama is really but really hard to find that engine with tranny.

And my last question is: Will my SD33 with its 5 speed gear box be enought to move my GQ ??????

Thank you.
