Surprisingly at the first drive I was not overwhelmed by extreme power. But throughout the night I started to realize how different the car actually was. Real easy exceleration at any rev range, seemed much smoother.
I can definitely feel the power increase now.
Fabulous note from the exhaust, I was worried that it would too droney inside the cab but is almost the same as it was, very impressed.
I now want to see the economy improvements.

Good stuff. If you were going to put a figure on the power / torque increase what would it be?

If its a piggy back system like most are these days its as simple as unplugging it and re-plugging the factory unit back in before heading back to nissan and they wont know any different. The good thing about these chips is tuneability if you get someone who has the software and knows what they are doing they should be able to make it even better than what you have now. It probably has a generic tune in it which will be better than stock but with a little tweaking can be much better.

Spoke to ARB and ARB head office and they are offering shit.
I already get the full discount on everything I get so they can't move on the accessories. And ARB head office said they'll just send out a new one, clean it up, sand blasted, re powder coat it and put it back on the shelf.

Honestly mate if it were me I would not worry about it, if you can get a discount then sweet, but as Stropp said, it will only get scratched etc... anyway.

I paid $320 for the both sides in hammertone powder coat.

The only flaw is the table holder, I believe won't hold the table hard enough against the panel to stop it from rattling when going over bumps.
So I asked for it to be looked at whilst it's still at ARB. for a tighter, stronger hold.

Also, they're struggling with the catch can for space to fit it. But I think we have it sorted.
I find out tomorrow.

i was doing some thinking after you called me Mick. Depends on how far you want to go with this now, but if you disconnect the leads from the solenoid to the winch motor and use jump leads from the battery and direct to the motor and the motor turns, then you know its the solenoid and the motor is o.k. if you put pos to pos and neg to neg the motor will turn one way, then go neg to pos and pos to neg on the motor and it will run opposite.
Low voltage supply can also be the issue like we discussed. But it could be just dirty contact in the solenoid. Not what you need the night before a day out hey...

Then trim cable ties with a knife so you dont have a sharp edge.
also on the turbo accuactor thingy,
also cable tie the dawes itself to maybe the aircon pipe if it near by.

What style plug runs your fridge??
FYI if you un do the bottom of those seat belts they will fit
though the top plastic moulding and out of the way

Wow ... that is the best bonnet scoop I have seen on a Patrol .... it would probably look a little strange without the extended flares, but it looks great in this package.

Well I did the KIT light in the bonnet scoop and I laugh every time I look at it. I keep calling myself a knob for doing it but still keeping it. Lolhttp://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forums/images/imported/2018/09/98.jpghttp://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forums/images/imported/2018/09/99.jpg

I was at granny’s flat the other week.

How awesome is that camp! The huge oaks for shade behind that first pic is pretty cool!

Drop toilets, grass, care free risk free river for the kiddies, etc.

I found them, who produce it http://offroad-master.su/nashi%20raboty_patrol%20nose.htm

They do a great tuning job with Y60 & Y61. I'm really impressed.

I had a problem with my Uneek4x4 rear bar. Where a weld sheared on the barn door bracket.

Called Uneek about it and they sent me out a new one.
I had the bar since 2014.
Just have to return the old one.

The Patrol has a history of spitting out brake pads mate. I know of more than a couple that have some that. My GQ did it in the sand dunes of Beachport 15 years ago. I felt it go, lost the peddle then pumped it to get the pedal back. Once I got back to camp I inspected it and has lost a brake pad completely.
