Rear wiper intermittent problem

Has anyone had a rear wiper that will not automatcally stop at the horizontal rest position? I am wondering where the control is for this so I can check it out and replace it if I need to?

If it is a GQ,

The rear wiper control module is mounted under the bonnet on the right hand side inner guard, in between the battery and firewall (near brake booster).

It is a square box and has 6 wires going to it.
