Hi my names josh im from newcastle and i just purchased a 91 gq 3l rb30.While driving the other day the engine cut out.It has no spark from the coil.I replaced the coil and coil lead but still nothing.

Coil needs a positive 12v from ignition. It may have 2 wires on that side. The other side will have earth, that goes to dizzy/control module. Not familiar with this engine in particular; however, all have same/similar principal with a coil from
My understanding. If u have an ignition module, that needs testing. If it's contact points, check they work correctly. Good luck and let us know how u go.

VL & R31 Skline dizzys are (Efi) and not the same as the GQ rb30S Dizzy

gq RB30 dizzys are a bit hard to find.
