going to attempt head gasket swap on diesel td42 im a car mechanic never opend up a diesel ne one done this job how hard ne tips

Diesel is quite simple.
Just a lot more headbolts lol
Be careful with the injectors i just picked one up someone else had had a go at and he had broken the spill tube trying to undo them.
And when undoing the thermostat housing their is an extra long bolt tap them with a hammer first as the long one is easily broken.
With mine the thread came out with it.
I tapped mine out to an imperial thread slightly larger and used a longer bolt.
