Guy`s and Gal`s let us remember the sacrifices made by our fallen so that we can have the freedom and peace we enjoy today.
After the dawn service you can play two up, have a drink or 3, go play in this great land that we call Australia and lets not forget our great neighbors New Zealand
Have a great day

Iv'e seen parts of the world like we all have and we are a lucky bunch living in Australia/NZ.
I'll be visiting my home town for the parade tomorrow followed by our old local RSL for stories and cold ones.
Proud to be Australian and proud of our fallen comrades and the sacrifice they made for us!!!!!!

I will be hitting my 2nd dawn service ever ( I was born in scotland) I'm aussie now though and my fiance is kiwi and proud of it. Her grandfather will have his last anzac day as he was one of the navy men that experimented with nuclear bombs out at christmas island and is riddled with cancer.
To all the men and women who gave their all I thank you and could only be so lucky to do so myself

We are just so damn lucky to live in this awsome part of the world.
To those that were here before us I am so grateful.
We have every reason to be proud and remember those special people in the morning.
My Pop served on Gallipoli for the last month of the occupation and got out in the secret evacuation 3 days before the last man.
He survived the war and his dairy is an interesting read.
Its a special day in our hearts.

They shall grow not old,as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
Lest We Forget.

The sun has risen but you are not forgotten, you are no longer here but we wouldn't be either, selfless act from so few touched so many, I am humble in your presence and thankful for your sacrifice, I'd be so lucky to give the ultimate thank you in return.
ANZAC says it all brothers in arms friends across the ditch We thank you all.
And to my Scottish family and country men I am proud of your service strength and courage

War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse.
A man who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.

I was very pleased with the turnout at a place called Dawseville, on the West coast near Mandurah this morning, only a small town but I estimate around 3.000 people, many young folk and children who got out of bed at 5 to be there.
A young girl recited a poem, then said:
"it's not the wind that makes our flag billow, it's the final breaths of all the lost members of our armed forces"
Lest we forget.
