G'Day all,

My name is Daryl and I have just taken delivery of my new 2012 series 8 ST manual wagon. I am workshop foreman at a large multi franchise dealer, one of those is Nissan. I have had the car 3 days now so mods are limited to snorkel and towbar. I have a Taipan stainless system, chip, and catch can coming and a Superior 4" superflex kit also on it's way. A new set of ProComp alloys waiting for 35" tyres sitting in the shed with a regear and front air locker to go in at the same time. Thats chewed up all the cash for now, that didn't take long.

I have just got out of a well set up Jeep Cherokee which served us well for the last 5 years, miss the power already, but am loving the extra size of the Patrol.

Looking forward to reading all about everyones trucks and picking the brains of those in the know.

Welcome to the Forum mate, your a brave man telling this lot who you work for, Nissan Dealer mechanics can get a pretty bad wrap here so forgive us if you read some cross words. Unfortunately there are some real Boffins working under Nissan Bonnets around the country and some Very Poor service.

Glad you stayed true and saw the light you will not regret the conversion from the Jeep to the Patrol.
