They are a great system. I got one after Bigrig showed me his. Now I use it for camping and 4wding. More importantly for me and the family we use it when when driving interstate incase of an accident or worse :/ it will keep a record of the trip and images/vid.

The burning question.... How much?

AB

$100 http://www.aldi.com.au/au/html/offers/2827_21646.htm

I'm always weary of suction cup mounting for stability though.

Can anyone confirm the stability of the footage when your bouncing around or on corry roads, etc?

I should mention I got the ebay one and then the one from the post that bigrig linked up last year. There is a HUGE difference in image quality and options with the different prices. E.g 0.3M vs 5M and real HD not fake.

Hmmm Interesting.

Not sure thats helping though? can you post a Link here for the two different cams? That would be great.

I remember that there was a link floating around a year ago too. I think Belzi or Snicko bought one and posted up some video of it??

wow, so Airstrike, is that one the good one or the one at the top of the page on ebay? they look identical and read the same in specs? Both suggest 720HD.

Which one is the good one mate, very interested in your first hand experience mate.

Cheers

top one without a doubt. BUT that being said the Aldi one looks really good. The lED on front 1 either side of camera looks a better design, ignore the 720HD. But as said having both and my wife with a $47 one from ebay aswell I would stick with the dealextreme one. I am going to be getting the Aldi one for a work car simply to give it a go aswell. Warranty is a little more reliable than a chinese one.

Bought the Aldi one last week & it works well. The exact same camera is advertised in the Big Rig truck paper for $298 plus postage.
