I wanted to say something smart, witty and concise about the 'quake but, chilli and vodka ... you guys rock!

I was born in Canberra nearly 60 years ago and in that time there have been a number of earthquakes reported.

I, however have yet to feel one. Seems they all happen in the middle of the night when i am fast asleep. Personally I think it is a a giant conspiracy to make me feel left out!

The only quake I have ever felt was in Tennant Ck in 1988. Sleeping on an airbed on the ground in the local caravan park, that was quite an experience. The old couple in a van beside us thought it was some of the locals trying to break into their van. They stayed up all night armed with a frying pan and rolling pin ready to defend their castle!
