I thought I would finally join a forum rather than borrow from them.
Love my patrol. Had a petrol/gas GQ for nearly 10 years. Ever the reliable. Changed to an '05 GU 3.0L, 4 years ago with 40Kms. I thought new vehicle, last forever. Well!!! it dropped a clutch at 50k and it hadn't really been off the road and at 80K had water usage issues going to the Cape that culminated in a blown head gasket (between 3 and 4) when we got back to Tassy. I had to think up some plausible excuses for 'her indoors' real quick.
Nothwithstanding all of that, just having a Patrol is an adventure in itself, they are a great machine and as said, I love my Patrol
So g'day to everyone, hope to chat with you soon
cheers
