Need honest service centre

Hey all

I have an 08 Gu patrol and its has hit 80000kms and its due for the major service, Can anyone recommend anyone in Sydney area that can do the service.

I have been to UltraTune in the pass and lets say i will not go there again. I know the service is roughly around the $1000 mark,

I just need someone that knows what a 4wd is and can do it properly...

Not sure about Sydney but if you want to go for a 3hr drive to Canberra, I can put you onto a mate who is excellent at 4WD vehicles. 3 to 4 week wait though.

Go to a dealer they know all that needs to be done for the 80,000 km service and they also know what to look for when it comes to common issues some of the smaller workshops just do the bare minimum and arent familiar with the specifics of your 4x4 and what they need to do/look for.

I took mine to Nissan a few weeks back and effectively all they did was change oils and slugged $1300 and meesed me around around for 2 days :(

Don't want to thread hi-jack, but between "major" services is it advisable to do the minors yourself (I hope so because this is my plan!) I'm happy for Nissan to have a look at my car (just in case) every 40k, just don't want to pay them in between.
