1700km from Willuna in southern western australia to Halls Creek (wolk creek crater) in northern western australia.
The canning stooc route is as it suggests a route taken by early settlers to run fat stock to Darwin to load onto boats.
canning is the name of the family that made / forged / built the track and the 50 or more hand dug wells along the way.
It is considered the most remote road in Australia and takes about 21 days to drive the length.
one fuel stop ($3/litre)
