Hi Guys, Does anyone know where I can get some air intake hose to run from my snorkle (80mm Dia) up to the air filter which has that square inlet on it? Or has anyone got photos of mods they've done? My pre filter is gone and the cars a TD 4.2l GQ. Ive found some 76mm hose but its to small

Get some 3" or 4" flexi wound pipe from either Bunnings or an irrigation/industrial hose supplier shop.

I did this last year, below is a brief explanation and the link shows pics of what I did.

Yep, I just ended up welding a 100mm round pipe to the square outlet and used bits of steel to block the holes off and welded them on...

Another way would be to utilize the existing square to round adapter that you already have and somehow connect the two round pipes up. Maybe using some sort of harder joiner and use 2 x pipe clamps???

Maybe a same size OD pvc pipe only 100mm long and force the two pipes over the PVC and hose clamp....Not sure PVC would be the go with engine heat but something similar to that which can handle heat.

You can buy 80mm (3 1/8") spiral wound flexible hose, which will also slip over the round section of the standard pipe before the concertina section.
