Flat top pistons

Hi guys.
Just done a head gasket on the truck and noticed she had flat top pistons. Did the 4.2 petrol come out with flats tops from factory or do you reckon she has had some work done to it?

First ive heard of flat tops in a tb, id be betting aftermarket. how many km's are on it?

Could have been rebuild before then so id bet aftermarket.
