Hi guys, the cb in the troll is not real good and I put it down to the aerial, what would be best for a reasonable one so you can get some distance, on the weekend the young fella could hear his mates but they could not hear him unless they were in line of site. Thx in advance Stropp

Might be something as simple as a bad earth or cable connection.

Have a lookin the threads for one about UHF's it has a good explanation and diagrams of aerials and gains.

Repco do a spring base coax and 3 foot whip for around 60 bucks which ive got and on duplex i can get out to esperance from wanneroo and on simplex i got out to beechboro from wanneroo while driving so aroun 15km as the crow flys
