Roof Top Tent Mounting Ideas

I have a 4.8L patrol which has a Arb Cab roof rack (the most common one) anyway i have a bought a ironman roof top tent to go on top, and to mount the tent i have the wrong rack. and the question i want to put out there is has anyone come across a way to mount the tent on top of the rack without cutting the top side bar off that it would let the tent sit flat on the rack. the reason why im also asking this is due to i have a 80 liter water tank on top so i cant mount it flush the the rack.

Hey mate, there's a couple of guys who've mounted there's on top of a standard rack....... I believe Rottodiver was one. There are ways and means of doing it
