Hi all,

My name is Alan i have owned a few different 4x4s ranging from a 96 rodeo with 31s and 2in lift, lwb sierra with 4in lift and 31s a 99 hilux with a SAS, 6in lift, lockers, 37s custom tray ect, apart from 4x4ing you will find me fishing, hunting camping or most likely working :-(

i have just purchased a 1994 GQ lwb 4.2efi with 102xxx kms for an absolute steal!

bought it as i am building a comp truck and needed a tow car plus i needed another daily as i am sick of driving an astra to work!

plans over the next few months are as follows

milweld bar
winch
light bar
rear gaurd chop and custom bar
3in lift
35s
trim gaurds to clear 35s
F&R lockers
drawers and fridge
roof top tent
and setup electric brakes to tow the toy around

should keep me busy and poor for a little while!
i will start a build thread soon.

No hype brother!! They're awesome vehicles!!

Yep, we're somewhat biased, but I've had a Toyota, a Pathfinder, a Landrover (lease car in England though), and 4 Patrols and whilst I can't see myself ever buying one of the new ones, the GU's and GQ's are proven stayers ...

Enjoy it mate!!
