Fault Code 1003 EGR Volume Control Valve

Hi all,

Just installed brand new engine, fuel pump, turbo etc.

I have blanked the EGR and now get the
1003 EGR Volume Control Valve with a check engine light. It didnt happen straight away and only done it once so far. However I have done a lot of driving yet,

Any one got any clues.

Have you tried disconnecting the battery for 24 hours to see if it resets and not come back on anymore?

I have heard that you can wipe the code with scangauge if you have one not sure if the Di version of the tool does the same thing?
