Will a mq engine and box come out in one piece?

I need to do an engine and box swap from my mk wag to mq`shorty, has any one done one in one piece or do i need to split the motor and trans?

yeah i was looking at it today, the sd 33 is huge so is the box , im wonering to if going to a 5 speed will present any worries?

If you are taking the 5 speed and fitting it to the MQ swb, you will need another set of tailshafts, you will need to modify the gearbox mounts,
The 5 speed is about 85mm longer than the 4 speed.
The MQ shafts will be too long. The rear shaft needs to be shorter and the front longer, unless you can get the shafts elsewhere.
