GU II Ti Towing Capacity?

Hi

Just wondering if anyone can confirm the towing capacity of the GU II (say 2000 model) Ti Model, petrol 4.5 litre please?

I have looked on redbook but thats not always correct with info.

Says the DX is 3500kg but all other upspec models are 2500kg.

Is this correct? I only want a Ti petrol version for various reasons (also only want the 4.5Litre)

I thought it was the otherway round, with the manuals having a higher towing capacity.......

I do remember seeing a thread somwhere on here with towing specs but can't remember where. Sorry mate

autos are 2500kg as found in my manual but also check the compliance plate on the towbar as there is some shonky installers out there
who put on sub standard tow bars rated at only 1000kg
These are manual
2.8ltr diesel Towing Braked (kg) 2800
3.0ltr diesel Towing Braked (kg) 3200 (April 2000)
4.2ltr diesel Towing Braked (kg) 3500
4.5ltr petrol Towing Braked (kg) 3140
