Air filter box
Dumb question but when replacing the air filter for the first time since I got the car last year, I notice that there is a tube in the middle of it which seems to go no where, What is its purpose? Do I need to block it off for my snorkel properly?
Thank in advance

I think you are talking about the drain. Some people block them others leave them I believe

Yeah I would definitely leave the drain as it is.

Do not block the drain Skid.
It's designed to drain water and not take any water in.

Nah in the centre of the housing where the filter sits there is a plastic tube. Ive seen this on a few housings but not all....
Not sure what it does but just leave it.

I'd say it's a filter locator?
