Use the 90 deg where is just the 45's will give flexibility to hook up. Cut then for length to suit.

Bit hard for me to see what fittings are actually req'd to hook up. What is the alignment of centers like between the 90 deg bend to the compressor housing inlet (side view and down from top)?

Looking at what you have there, what do you think will sort it?

Some use a flexiduct mat'l, personally rather use a solid form type ducting.

Go to an exhaust place. Most will be happy to cut you a piece of SS pipe.

I am wondering if a short piece of flex hose would be better? Takes all the accuracy out of the situation and will get you on the road quicker. You mentioned SS Pipe or do you mean tube - thin wall, shiny finish? Try Purple Pig or whatever they are called now - they have everything. You just want a hose that won't collapse under a slight vacuum, so maybe wire wound, and 200degc operating temp.

Well I am not a 100 % happy yet but it is a far cry from what was happening before I ended up beating the inner gaurd down and back up again to drop the box down and to line it up with the turbo there was no other way of doing it, I brought home from work a pannal beating hammer which I haven't used since I brought it new 5 yrs ago and I used the big hammer to beat it down and the panal besting hammer to manipulate the matel in to position it took a while but I was finally happy with the result, but the snorkel is another matter by the time I ground the inner guard to suit the elongated whole was masive what a f@@k up it looks like a hack job another problem for another time I need to get the snorkel mounted and it all so looks like I need to buy another outer gaurd as well again a problem for the future.
