Hose not connected on GU III TD42Ti

I've noticed that there is a thin hose that runs from the drivers firewall and isn't connected to anything at the other end.
I've had a look through the service manual but can't find reference to that unit on the firewall and therefore where that house should run to.
Can someone with another TD42Ti (or knowledge of them) offer any assistance?
    Many thanks.

It’s the vacuum line for bringing your RPM actuator thingy up when the aircon is turned on I believe mate.
The left side should run across to your vac cannister area.

The right side should run down to the IP area onto the actuator.

Whoops, I should have written a 2001 TD42T ours would be. GU11 I think that means. It is surprising that Cremulator hasn’t experienced a vacuum leak wherever it may pickup the pressure on his variant. Must’ve been capped off is all I can think of?

Yes, I just checked where you suggested the line should run @MB and that little nipple has a rubber cap on it.

Oh right that makes a bit more sense.

@Cremulator it would be worth checking down near the vacuum pump and making sure it hasn't come off from down there. It probably doesn't matter which one you connect it to, but you don't want the vac pump sucking in crud if it's not capped. I'll chuck a pic up where mine plumbs in so you can check it.

    This one is still capped.

Mine attaches pretty well directly to the vacuum pump. Bit hard to see, but see a nice shiny bit if yours is supposed to be attached here.

I don't know how you got your phone near the vacuum pump, but this was the best I could do.
So the hose from the left side of the solenoid runs to the vacuum pump that you have pointed out.
It's the other hose, the right side, that I'm baffled by.
Good elimination process thus far though, thanks for the pics!

    Hose connected to vacuum pump.
Hose running from solenoid to vacuum pump.

It goes to the solidoid on the side of your fuel pump that your hand is blockingin the pic.

Bit hard to take a snap but it plumbs in to the rear at the bottom of that solenoid. You can kinda see the hose dissapear down there. It's purpose is to lift the revs when the aircon kicks in by pulling the throttle back a bit.

Edit: you can just see yours:

    Too much effort here gents.
Just rip the whole idle up assembly off you don't need it. TD42 has enough idling grunt for AC compressor to be spun.
I ripped my entire system out. Less hoses and wires, etc...

Thanks, both you guys, for your help.
I've hooked it back up now. Let's see if it helps the aircon as it's 37° today in Melbourne!
