Need a holiday..Heading Fraser way

We'll be getting to Rainbow Beach Monday next week (4th) and staying there for 2 weeks. Will go on the island and camp for few days.

Mainly fishing, spearfishing and 4wdring so I'm after some local spots to fish or spear. I think we'll find enough sand to have a bit of fun in the Patrols.

So anyone know any good spots within 2hrs of Rainbow beach? Or anyone keen to drop in for a frostie or two?...ok ok a dozen or two...lol

Very tempting krisso. The only spot I know, its a little hectic, is flat rock at double island point. I dont really fish but last time I was there you used a bit of rope to help you down the descent.

Inskip Point is a good spot to camp except you may get swallowed by a sinkhole.

Would have been up for swapping " shine secrets " but will be on the way towards Carrawinya nat park . Have a good trip .

Yep sounds good mate, our base will be at Rainbow Waters Holiday Park.
