What shocks to buy ome bp-51? Kings 2.5s? Fox 2.0s?
I’m after advice and opinions on what shocks to run in my gu patrol wagon with a 3” lift, it’s weighs 3.5t so it’s pretty heavy,
I ran dobbo mrr shocks but blew them, so I’m looking for a decent shock that can take the weight and be fine with lots of corrigations!
Thanks

Nice list. Fox is out classed there and ate not in that race.
You will be very happy with the BP51s or the kings 2.5 smoothies. BP51 will get my money next time in my tourer.
Its a Nissan! =====> Its a Keeper!! ....... Got a TD42 in it BONUS!!
....... I'm a lucky bugger! I've got 2 of em!

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.
WARNING: Towballs used for recoveries can, and do kill people and damage property.

I’m just not sure how the bp-51 will take the weight though!

They dont. The springs take the weight mate. The shock dampens the spring.

Yeah same here. Mostly happy with mine but thinking whilst driving over Ks and Ks of killer corrugations around Useless Loop in WA might spoil myself one day and think I would go BP51's. Also thinking about superior sway bars too as the factory ones leave a little to be desired still do the job tho if you don't drive it like a race car. .
