    Stratos 3000 LTSS

I've done a quick search and not found the response I need so apologies if this has been asked before. I would appreciate feedback from anyone who is using the subject spring seats with their opinion on the comfort, support, ease of getting in and out of and value for money of these seats. Have been quoted for two seats, fitment and certification at $4250.
    Cheers

That price is about right for retail...
I am changing from 3000 to 3000 LTSS at this very moment
The 3000 was quite comfy and it is teh same sqaub and seatback so the LTSS can only make it even better
Dolphins are so smart that within a few weeks of captivity, they can train people to stand on the very edge of the pool and throw them fish.

I have the LTSS 3000 seat fitted to my 2004 wagon two things I found from having a crook back ,
bolted straight to the floor I felt every vibration known to man so I cut some 50mm square pieces of rubber
to insulate the seat from the floor 100% improvement, I originally took the seat out and put it back in my shed.
The second thing I found was the seat was now lower so to combat that I spaced it up 40mm and now have great over bonnet vision
and a great ride with the lumbar pump.
The lower thigh bolster will wear so a decent set of seat covers to protect your investment is a must

I think the suspension seat would ideally be suited to HWY only driving and dirt roads no so much full on off road
Ive had suspension seats in a 4x4 and it was useless

That price you were given is very good, you could save a bit more
by bolting them together and fitting them yourself, not a hard or big job, imo

Cheers TD. Will probably give it a go if I ( you know, wife lets me) decide to go ahead with these seats. Four month wait according to supplier!

I received feedback from the same question on another forum, and the poster replied he bought a pair years ago and his wife nearly divorced him when she found out how much he paid for them. During first trip, wife then got into him on why he took so long to buy them

Well, mine has been in for a week now and very happy indeed.

They, the 3000 LTSS, are (IMHO) better than the 3000 Compact in every respect and I loved my prev seat.
    Only comments are the LTSS;
Mount has slightly longer rail travel which is all to the rear IE stops at the same point at the front but goes further back, and
Because it is a suspension seat it moves when you do, albeit only very slightly, but can take a teensy bit to get used too if you aren't familiar with them
Dolphins are so smart that within a few weeks of captivity, they can train people to stand on the very edge of the pool and throw them fish.
