I've got a fully enclosed one in mine.... Got a couple of those square aluminium tables up there. 3 small camp chairs for the kids, Jump leads. 2 sets of led light strips amd a few other things. Could also get into it from the back seat side but cargo barrier is in the way of it...... Works well. Will take a photo when I get the chance or if I remember.

    Apologies for the hijack Dave

Thanks guys, I have had a top shelf unit in a couple of 4wd's over time, and in the GQ but have removed it when changing the back around - curious to gauge access as might re-install it for the lighter stuff, and coming in from the back seat, never thought of that, as the cargo barrier is in the way.

Went on a bit of a spending spree:

Brought a high mount off Facebook marketplace, it’s in pretty bad shape but the main bits are there, nothing a rebuild and some new parts can’t fix

So stripped it down to nothing, it’s off to get sandblasted later in the week, then next year I’ll start the rebuild

Brought a UFI fan and hub, this should keep it cool when I give it some more fuel and got the A/c on flat out

And my 18G turned up today, I’ll be running it on my 11mm pump until next year when I buy a 12mm pump and get it tuned, this should wake it up enough for now

Got my high mount stuff back from the sandblaster this morning, ordered a brace kit to be welded on when I start putting it back together

Fitted my UFI fan and hub and took the car to my Mum and Dads for Christmas, had to roll start it to get home so now I need a new starter motor

Better to happen now than in the bush I suppose

    Back in a GQ

Rock on RD mate, you’re a serious mover and shaker good bloke!
Only my opinion but reckon our Warn HM’s look and greasy stay timeless with a good ‘black/charcoal’ powder coat atop
Tends to blend in a bit better too with dark grills for candy cars forthcoming afront looking for that extra excuse to tail back

EDIT: Paying it forward here RD mate, best to contact ‘Phil’ at the ‘4WD Shed’ and book in a ‘Iskra/Mahle’ 6hp motor! @MudRunnerTD top advice for me and never looked back for sure! (Cheaper than others back then too )

Thanks mate, looking into bits and pieces and Phil is just down the road from my work, I’ll wait till they get back in the new year!

Started doing my turbo upgrade, so the old one had to come off

The size difference between these two is massive, I’m teally looking forward to driving it!

    Got it back in

Still a fair bit to do, managed to keep the factory heat shield. Unfortunately I’ve damaged the fitting that goes into the block for the oil drain so need to source a new one of those, redo my cooler piping and do the intake, set up wastegate, lengthen my dump pipe
