Different rim sizes what do they do ?

So what are the differences between a 15,16,17 inch rims is one better then the other for off road or something ?

I have just changed from 15s to 16s. The 16s give you more choice in tyres and are becoming more popular than the 15s. The main reason I went 16s is because I have gone with 35 inch tyres, so having more wheel doesn't make the tyre look so big and doesn't stand out as much. They also allow more room around your brakes for cooling.
I wouldn't go 17s for offroad because there is not enough rubber and air between the road and rim and you are more likely to do damage in my opinion.

I am putting a 4 inch lift in and originally I was going to see how my 15 inc rims with 33s on would look first because I was worried about atracking more attaintion with 35s on but now you have given me food for thought

33s will look tiny with a 4 inch and the 35s will look great and in ratio with everything.
Can all look good though but all they have to do is look at the numbers printed on the tyres and you're done.

I run a 4"lift on 285's, 16 inch rim. Everything looks proportioned. Agreed 15s n 33s might look less than proportional, but mine looks sensible (imho) lol

I reckon I saw a GU on 15s with 35s the other day. It looked crazy big and real cop bait. But I've been running around on 32s for years so everything looks big to me.

Can't help but notice your car is looking remarkably dry after that large water crossing . . .
