The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

It's an impressive build. Looks mad.
I had a laugh at the shot where he opened the fridge and it was too high for him to see what was in there!

@MudRunnerTD did I read somewhere that you haven't driven one?

They are a pretty awesome car mate. I loved mine and would like to think I could get another one some day in the future.

In my opinion the only bar to fit is the rhino one. None of the others look anywhere near as nice. If you what a little more functionality then arb would be the next bet.

A full exhaust system is a must. Much nicer to drive. Not a huge gain but just frees the bug v8 up a bit.

You will be shocked at how good these are over a GU. Brakes are astonishing compared to the older model. Comfort is so much better. And offroad they go pretty good. The biggest struggle with them offroad is their size they are just fat and long. As 04OFF said I only used the locker in mine once the system works pretty bloody well.

G'day mate, yes have not driven one. Not sat in one running. I have really struggled with the front bar option and was adamant about the ARB Summit bar for Animal strike protection. But thr Rhino is Stunning and as of yesterday really swaying in that direction.

    Can't wait.

It will blow your sox off mate. I get to park next to two of them fully decked out on 35s daily.
Makes my GU look like a little Jimny ...
And each time I drive one, it's a big grin side to side.
It's hard to describe the feeling sitting and driving such a large car and have such tremendous power at your disposal and make it move like a super car. Even on 35s.

If you don't already know yet Daz, but keep in mind Nissan have a recommended 85kg max extra load for the front axel, this means many of the all steel bars plus a winch, may actually put you over this, the Rhino ,Dash etc can stay under even with a winch, so can be a great option.
