Gonna be very easy to run a vac hose from the timing case mounted pump there, and there are already solid vac hoses going across the firewall so I will just go from the alternator to one of those solid hoses and from the other end of that to the canister.
Darren reckons he also had a good improvement just from moving the canister over.

Ok cool! It's a hard line across the firewall so vac distance shouldn't make a difference or very minimal but either way mate go for it!
Just make sure you utilise double vac though mate.

I actually have a second canister on the shelf at home and could run double canisters lol. Could even seperate the clutch from the brakes and have them on their own pumps.

Yep I've always wanted to experiment with larger canisters/storage etc...

Rest the engine on his side....
Or, you should be able to wedge something between the teeth and the ground. That's only if Nickos monster doesn't work.
Seems to be coming together nicely.

Yeah i have removed the hard double fuel line and the vac line off the fire wall. Pointless plumbing. Moving the canister to the drivers side made my clutch so light i didnt think i had one!!! Cant believe the xhamge.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

Wankers indeed. Nah single vac pump. I think the improvement us a co sequence of the canister volume is very close the the booster and isnt reatricted by 4m of 8mm tube

Yeah ok, it's just Winnie is still using his Alt vac too so he still has to run that to the firewall with rubber hose and across the firewall hard pipes to rubber hose junction along with a custom pipe from T engine to the new cannister location which no doubt he'll use rubber hose too so yes huge improvement with double Vac but very long lengths of rubber hose that's all.
This is all minor though so all good. That's why for Winne's double Vac set up he should leave it all as is IMHO, block off T vac pump for now until he finds OEM line but all good, both will work fine.
